If you like Eggs Benedict Parkside Cafe makes a great Hollandaise sauce. I recommend ordering a little extra Hollandaise as it's so good I want to make sure I don't run out. Plus the home fries are very underrated. Crispy on the outside yet hot and soft on the inside. They pair fabulously with the Benedicts. Plus there is a wide variety of Benedicts to choose from. Bonus, the cafe is across the street from a park. Have breakfast then take a walk in the fresh mountain air and pine trees.
We just moved to Black Hawk, but this is one of our new favorite spots for a snack before we go run errands in Evergreen. Super friendly staff, delicious food (everything made in-house), and very convenient location for running errands after you're full! Last time we were in, I'm pretty sure every front of house staff came by to make sure we were pleased with our meals.
We really enjoyed our experience here. Turns out, the owner of Parkside Cafe rebranded and worked with folks from Mexico to create the menu. Regarless, it is always nice to see him working on-site with his staff to create amazing dining experiences for his guests! We had the steak fajitas and they were wonderful! I highly reccomend giving this place a chance as they will also be expanding the menu as of writing this!
I stop by here every time I'm done hiking in the area! It has never disappointed! Today my Benedict was more than phenomenal and I added Avocado to it! They didn't skimp on the Avocado which most places do! I will definitely continue to eat here after hiking in Evergreen!
This is THEE breakfast spot in Evergreen! Not only are the staff great, but the food was incredible. I got the Irish Benedict and my wife got the Biscuits and Gravy. The Irish benefit was mouth watering and inspired me to try making it at home. My wife’s biscuits and gravy were also delicious, however the amount of gravy was lacking. Although there wasn’t as much gravy as we usually see with this dish, it was hands down one of the best biscuits and gravy we’ve had in the Denver metro area. Highly recommend stopping by next time you’re in Evergreen!
Had a great meal and a fun time at La Cantina. The steak & chicken fajitas were terrific. The steak was juicy, lean, and tender (not chewy at all) with the most amazing marinade. The salsa was freshly made. The tortillas were authentic and handmade. The chicken enchiladas were awesome as well. The chef is from Keys on the Green and we understand that the menu will soon expend to include signature seafood entrees, which will be fun to try.
We are from Nebraska and was just looking for a good spot for breakfast and this spot was perfect!. Amazing service the girl we had (I didn’t get a chance to ask for their name) treated us with hospitality and the forgot our toast but once we brought it up they got it right away and gave it to us for free! (They didn’t have to it wasn’t to big of a deal). And not even to mention the food was amazing! 10/10 would recommend
My husband and I stopped in, and I ordered the Smoked Salmon Omelet. It was excellent, and the potatoes were perfectly crispy. Would definitely recommend.
